Travel TIMELINE
1 🛬 Arrival & Cruise Departure
Arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport (Central Kalimantan). Meet your guide and transfer to Kumai port (30-min drive). Board a traditional wooden klotok and start sailing on the Sekonyer River. Lunch on board while observing wildlife (proboscis monkeys, crocodiles, exotic birds).
2 🦧 Visit to Tanjung Harapan
First stop at Tanjung Harapan, an orangutan rehabilitation center. Observation of orangutan feeding at 3:00 PM. Continue cruising at sunset, the perfect time to spot wildlife.
3 🌿 Exploration & Orangutan Spotting
Breakfast on board while sailing deeper into the jungle. Visit Pondok Tanggui for another orangutan feeding session at 9:00 AM. Continue the journey to Camp Leakey, a world-renowned research station. Afternoon jungle trek to observe diverse wildlife. Evening navigation to a secluded area to admire the starlit sky.
4 🚤 Final Cruise & Return
Enjoy the last morning of your cruise with a peaceful navigation. Final wildlife sightings (monitor lizards, macaques, crocodiles). Return to Kumai port and transfer to Pangkalan Bun Airport for departure.
