2Day 2 – Trabzon, Sumela Monastery, Zigana, Karaca Cave

After breakfast, departure for Sumela Monastery, clinging to a cliff in the heart of a forest.
Relaxation stop near the Altındere Valley National Park.
Continuation along the ancient Silk Road through the Zigana Mountains to Karaca Cave, one of the most beautiful in Turkey.
Return to Trabzon.
Dinner and overnight in Trabzon.

3Day 3 – Trabzon, Uzungöl

Visit to Hagia Sophia Church and its Byzantine frescoes, Gülbahar Hatun Mosque, the castle, Atatürk Mansion, Ortahisar Mosque, and the Girls’ Monastery.
Panoramic view of the city from Boztepe, then road to Uzungöl, one of the most photogenic spots in the region.
Lunch at a fish restaurant, stroll around the lake.
Dinner and overnight in Uzungöl.

4Day 4 – Rize, Fırtına Valley, Ayder

Departure for Ayder with a stop at Rize Botanical Garden.
Pass through the Fırtına Valley, known for its lush forests, waterfalls, stone bridges, and views of the Kaçkar Mountains.
Lunch and exploration of the Ayder Plateau.

5Day 5 – Ayder, Borçka-Karagöl, Artvin

Road to Artvin, visit to Borçka Karagöl Lake and ancient Georgian churches: Dolishane and Yeni Rabat (Shetberdi) in Ardanuc.
The route follows the Çoruh River, the fastest in Turkey, known for rafting.
Dinner and overnight in Artvin.

6Day 6 – Yusufeli to Erzurum

Scenic drive through the Çoruh River Valley with visits to Georgian churches Ishan and Oshk-Vank.
Stop at Tortum waterfalls, lunch en route.
Arrival in Erzurum, dinner and overnight stay.

7Day 7 – Erzurum – End of the Tour

Visit to Seljuk and Mongol monuments:

• Cifte Minareli Madrasa (twin-minaret theological school)
• Yakutiye Madrasa, built in 1308 by Mongol prince Olcayto
• Grand Mosque (Ulu Camii) and Erzurum Castle
