Indonesia Informations

Documents and procedures

Travelers must have a passport to travel in Indonesia and it must be valid for more than 6 months from the date of entry in Indonesia and have blank pages to affix the visa. In addition, the passport must be in very good condition: many Canadian nationals have been refused access to Indonesia because of a damaged passport (torn pages, cover in poor condition, etc.). They are then expelled and forced to return to France.

Canadian nationals wishing to stay in Indonesia for less than 30 days are exempted from the visa requirement, provided that their trip is for one of the following reasons Tourism; family visit; social; art and culture etc. A return ticket or other proof of exit will be required by the Indonesian authorities. For Canadian nationals who have benefited from the visa exemption, it is impossible to extend the stay beyond 30 days once in Indonesia.

Before leaving, you must be up to date on your vaccinations. The health authorities recommend a vaccination against yellow fever even if the risks are increasingly low.

Vaccination against yellow fever is mandatory. A preventive treatment against malaria is also recommended: consult your doctor.

Payment

The payment of the stay can be done in several times.

You can pay by cash, credit card, check or bank transfer.

The total amount due must be paid at least one month before departure.

If the registration takes place after less than one month before departure, checks will no longer be accepted and full payment must be made at registration.

A deposit must be left. This will vary according to the total amount you will have to pay, the number of people, whether you choose options or not, etc.

Flights

Departures can be made from anywhere in Canada. The date of departure and/or the airline will vary according to your wishes. You will take your flight independently and then you will be picked up at the arrival airport.
