A new development, in addition to halal trips and cruises, is the emergence of halal honeymoons which allow newly married couples to go on their honeymoon in a setting that is conducive to their ethics and in accordance with their lifestyle.

It is common for married couples to fly to various destinations after the wedding and enjoy a romantic trip. However, for some Muslim couples, there is a psychological barrier that hinders them in this process since, according to them, travel means giving up being themselves, having to give up their religious practice, being obliged to give up eating meat for the duration of their trip and also having to frequent some places and hotels that are not very ethical from a religious point of view. The emergence of halal honeymoons is there today to guarantee a family travel environment, activities that do not go out of the ethical framework, halal catering and also adapted places of prayers. We can also add that some places allow women private spaces for swimming (private pools for women) or other activities.
