It holds rare and ancient manuscripts covering a wide range of subjects: fiqh (jurisprudence), ‘aqida (theology), history, Islamic sciences, linguistics, and more. Many of these texts are carefully preserved, and some are even available in French, making knowledge accessible to non-Arabic speakers.

This tranquil space offers several reading areas—perfect for sitting down, focusing, and enjoying a peaceful read. The breathtaking view of the Haram makes the experience unique: reading in the heart of the holiest place in Islam.

The Mecca Library is open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM, welcoming pilgrims, visitors, students, and researchers from around the world in a spirit of openness and shared knowledge.
